Introducing Dayna Mei Louise Wilson!

Monday, May 1 was Dayna’s first birthday. It was bittersweet as we were unable to share such a wonderful experience with her. However, we made the most of things. Dan made her a birthday cake and we went out to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Alaina’s fortune read: “The day will come when you have to search no longer."
On Tuesday, May 2, we received our Travel Approval, thus beginning the frantic process of finding airline tickets, buying a car seat, diapers, formula, gifts for Chinese officials, a baby toothbrush (for those two tiny teeth!), and countless other things we’ll probably forget to pack, anyway!
We leave for China on Thursday, May 18. We’ll stay overnight in Beijing before traveling to Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. We anticipate holding sweet Dayna in our arms sometime on Sunday, May 21 (Chinese time). We’ll keep you posted!
